Job Description:
We are in search of an experienced AP Analyst to support our Global AP team with day to day tasks and deliverables. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, open to learning how we work and flexible to the opportunities that may come their way. This is a fast paced environment with a host of variables that can and do change at a moment's notice so the candidate will also need to be able to think critically and be comfortable asking clarifying questions when things do not make sense.
Job Responsibilities:
- Download large sets of data from various sources into excel and use process documents to prepare files for AP Analyst
- Assist in daily report preparation and prior day report reconciliation
- Use case management system to initiate supplier and or internal business communications using templates to support ad hoc initiatives
- Compile data through various sources to assist analyst with ad hoc reviews and analysis
- Perform bookkeeping work, including posting data and keeping other records supporting the AP function
- Monitor internal groups for relevant updates and cross-share to other critical XFN groups
- Assist with manual review, organization, and follow up of open AP tasks
- Provide other ad-hoc support to Global AP team as needed
Skills:
- Invoice Processing, Holds Processing and/or Payments Processing knowledge
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in accounting or related financial discipline preferred.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position: $16.86/hour $23.35/hour
