Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist recording, editing, and mixing sessions using Pro Tools and analog or digital consoles.
• Setup microphones, headphones, and other audio equipment.
• Train new users in edit rooms, update documentation.
• Assist with studio maintenance and systems integration.
• Support team-wide audio software and hardware upgrades
• Manage equipment inventory, including documentation and data entry.
• Coordinate facility vendors for infrastructure repairs.
• Assist with studio scheduling and management, as needed.
Skills:
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a professional recording facility.
• Strong understanding of signal flow, microphone functionality and placement
• Strong understanding of acoustics, sound recording processes and electronics.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using audio editing software.
• Troubleshooting technical and computer issues.
• Mid-level to advanced Google Suite skills.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree/completion of an equivalent recording program, or equivalent work experience required.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $37.35/hour - $51.72/hour
