Job Description:
The automation engineer works for hardware test automation, the main function is to design, program and test automated technology and processes in order to carry out specific tasks in mechanical validation, data processing and analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and test the hardware with automation scripts.
• Develop data acquisition and data processing scripts, control data quality
• Maintain and improve the test automation setup and procedure.
• Design specifications and other documents for test automation and execute tests for validation.
• Troubleshoot for automation and manual testing, document and report bugs and issues encountered.
• Comply with best practices for source control, automated testing.
• Familiar with product design validation process and mechanical test fixture/equipment
Skills:
• Proficient in Python, C++ and other modern programming languages
• Working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
• Experience with consumer electronic, design and develop test automation.
• Ability to apply principles of automated theory to engineering projects.
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $35.74/hour - $49.48/hour
