Job Description
Overall system performance (not power) analyze, verify and validate the data flow, memory bandwidth utilization and optimization. Most of the use cases on will require deep understanding of SoCs IP blocks for realizing memory intensive use cases:
o System performance verification and validation on SoC considering parameters like bandwidth, latencies, MIPS etc. for key use cases to avoid throttling.
o Validate and provide guidance for optimum data flow and partner with technology stakeholders for implementation.
o SoC architecture and performance aspects of key cores like CPU, DSP, DDR, NPU, ISP, DPU, etc.
o Knowledge of Imaging and vision (including VR) algorithms and
o Experience in detailed analysis of the existing software to provide innovative recommendations to improve power, performance and memory utilization, including software optimizations, software and hardware partitioning, cache sizing, etc…
o Architectural analysis and modeling, including forecasting bus bandwidth, and memory utilization for current and next generation chipsets across various subsystems on the SoC.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $59.54/hour - $82.44/hour
