Summary:
A programmer with strong experience in developing full stack web applications with front end technologies like React and backend technologies like Flask. Experience with AWS, Docker, and Python will be very beneficial to a successful outcome.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design and implement full stack applications
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, space and time complexity of devised algorithms, inbound and outbound network latency, and form of desired results
• Write technical documenation, unit tests, and end-to-end tests for application software
• Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support
• Identify, escalate, and document production impact issues
• Evaluate stakeholder requests for new or modified application software to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles
• Expertise with front end technologies React and Relay, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge with backend technologies Flask and GraphQL servers
• Experience with AWS, Docker and Python will be very beneficial to a successful outcome
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred
