Job Description:
The main function of the marketing associate is to write content for social media accounts and help develop social media strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
• Write and manage content for social media platforms.
• Assist in developing social strategy for new accounts and differentiating strategies across various social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Threads, etc.)
• Must be able to creatively write content and then manage publishing across various social media accounts.
• Ability to work on multiple projects from conception to publication within deadlines.
• Assist with branding and developing of marketing campaigns dedicated to increasing brand awareness, generating social engagement, and driving website traffic.
• Increase online awareness and branding by utilizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
Skills:
• Adept at using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Threads
• Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
Education/Experience:
• Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or public figure.
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $27.55/hour - $38.14/hour
