Summary:
The main function of marketing manager is to run marketing activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans and managing marketing staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead Business Marketing focused on helping clients and the industry understand how Facebook can help grow their business. Develop strategic positioning and content for the vertical based on industry insights, market assessment, and understanding of client and company priorities.
• Develop vertical marketing plans that drive business relationships, solution adoption, scale, and revenue for the Agency Business within North America.
• Own and lead the execution of multi-channel activations, coordinating with cross-functional partners including Sales, Creative, Industry, Events, PR, Product Marketing, and Measurement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• BA/BS degree
• 8+ years of experience in marketing, whether in-house, technology provider, media or creative agency in media or account service
• Experience leveraging industry insights to develop and execute a customer-first marketing plan
• Experience in business/enterprise marketing that leverages both paid and owned channels to drive engagement and customer action
• Experience translating sales objectives to marketing strategies, storytelling and project management
• Experience developing messaging that simplifies complex product recommendations to actionable, customer-first language
• Experience communicating strategy and program status to senior leadership to get buy-in and support
• Ability to manage large, high-visibility projects and effectively build relationships with key cross functional partners
• Career experience in client service
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working with sales teams to develop scaled marketing solutions that drive business impact
• Experience working with or for Marketing / Advertising Agencies
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time with limited direction
