We are currently seeking an experienced polymer synthesis and characterization expert to work with the research team.

Job Responsibilities

• Synthesize monomers/polymers and molecular level characterization (NMR, GCMS, FTIR, DSC)
• Polymer performance characterization (optical, mechancial)
• Conduct data process and analysis
• Write testing reports and present the testing results to teams
• Lab equipment maintenance

Minimum qualification

• 5+ years of experience in polymer synthesis
• 3+ years of experience in polymer research
• MS or PhD in material science, polymer science and engineering, organic chemistry
• Data process and analysis
• Clear communication and report writing
• Local to Redmond WA or willing to move without moving compensation

Preferred qualification

• PhD research experience.

This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $29.74/hour - $41.17/hour
