Metrology Engineer IV

Job Description

Facebook Cameras & Sensors group is looking for an experienced image sensor characterization engineer to support the test of next generation image sensors.

Job Responsibilities

• Performing image sensor characterization test following standard testing flow
• Create, maintain, and operate opto-electronic test benches based on different use case requirements
• Develop automation test scripts using Python, MATLAB, or C/C++
• Be able to work in an opto-electronic lab environment
• Responsible for data collection, data analysis, and test report preparation
• Responsible for sensor debugging, root cause analysis, and problem solving

Minimum Qualification

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Physics, or a related discipline
• Experience working in an electro-optical laboratory environment
• Ability to use Matlab to analyze and present characterization data
• Programming experience with coding languages of Python and Matlab
• Knowledge of device physics, statistic data analysis and knowledge with imaging process

Preferred Qualification

• Masters/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Physics, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of industry experience in image sensor characterization.

This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $46.85/hour - $64.87/hour
