Job Description:
The main function of a Procurement Specialist is to lead in determining and managing the source to pay process and engaging with stakeholders. This role is responsible for providing thorough, accurate, and quality responses to inquiries and exceptions that are presented through our case management system. This role involves problem solving, strong business acumen, and excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
-Understand the full S2P (Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, AP) cycle to quickly identify the source of bottlenecks, problems, and drive issues to resolution
-Research, analyze, coordinate, and respond to incoming inquiries regarding status of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
-Provide clear, concise, step-by-step instructions to internal stakeholders and external suppliers on using procurement tools and interacting with processing teams
-As needed, reconcile supplier accounts to ensure compliant, timely and accurate payments
-Analyze data to identify stakeholder pain-points, exceptions, feedback and opportunities for improvement in existing processes.
-Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
-Assist in the research and analysis of audit issues raised by external and internal audit
-Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
-BA/BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management preferred
-Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
-Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
-Strong analytical and decision-making skills
-Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
-Ability to demonstrate understanding of end-to-end source to pay process
-Analytics experience
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
-Experience with ERP system, preferably Oracle
-Experience with Procurement system/software
-Comfortable with fast paced environment and ambiguity
-Stakeholder support experience preferred.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $40.15/hour - $55.59/hour
