Facebook seeks a product marketer and strategist who is knowledgeable and passionate about marketplaces and mobile commerce.


The ideal candidate has experience both launching and growing products that help people discover products they love and businesses drive sales. They also bring a deep understanding of industry competitive landscape, trends, and business models and have strong and informed perspectives on how to build and work with partners to accelerate key metrics. She or he must have experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, and developing and executing against global launch plans to bring commerce products to market. Excellent analytical and communication skills as well as comfort with ambiguity are a must.


This is a contract position will be remote with a focus on outbound partner marketing. Responsibilities may include building/ executing a co-marketing plan with partners to help drive shared goals/ metrics, constructing sales and partner assets that will help educate and drive seller adoption, manage and coordinate relationships (internally and externally) to drive alignment and understanding on all things outbound.


Job Responsibilities

  • You will work directly with high valued partners in our ecosystem to help build and execute on co-marketing plans (Partner Led and Facebook Led) that support shared goals.
  • You will support upcoming product launches/ key moments by coordinating ongoing and upcoming marketing campaigns related to your area of focus.
  • You will lead and support digital events and executions that will help educate or improve seller success.
  • Plan, write, edit, test and create success stories to help represent the value of commerce to businesses by working with our platform partners or cross-functional teams.
  • While this is a business marketing role, you will also need to understand the multiple players in the ecosystem across consumers, policy makers, news media, governments and advocates to ensure the work is contextually relevant - Identify significant long-term opportunities based on quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, research and a strategic view of the direction of the market
  • Communicate the value proposition of new products to all business facing go-to-market teams and ensure that effective sales support materials and packages are created
  • Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting market facing programs and effective product launch support - Be willing and able to flex between strategic and tactical/execution responsibilities.


Minimum Qualification

  • BA/BS degree - 5 years work experience
  • 2+ years experience working in a product marketing capacity
  • Experience working with two to three sided marketplaces
  • Experience with event management, creating and building events from scratch
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Customer-focused, collaborative, and data-driven
  • Experience in a start-up environment
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, and developing and executing against global launch plans to bring marketplace products to market


This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position: $52.23/hour $72.31/hour
