Job Description:

The Threads Editorial Program Manager plays a key role in social voice, engagement and programming across owned Threads channels. Day-to-day tasks are varied, ranging from identifying trends to sourcing creators.


The work is equal parts creative and strategic, and requires a mix of advance planning and fast-paced updates.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor social conversation with a focus on trends and opportunities to engage across three owned channels: @threads, @instagram and @creators
  • Monitor @mentions and conversation about our core products across the platform
  • Assist with editorial research for project development and advance content planning
  • Help track pitches from across the organization to help strategize account engagement
  • Update team resources and documentation, including calendar production across teams
  • Pull insights on a weekly basis and produce monthly Threads performance reports
  • Maintain an understanding of business objectives and product launches
  • Operate independently, demonstrating creativity and delivering results in an organized and solution-oriented manner
  • Communicate effectively and strategically with larger organization and partners


Skills:

  • Experience managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable building working relationships with core and cross-functional teams
  • Able to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience communicating and enforcing editorial standards
  • Experience with social media platforms, creative tools and publishing
  • Able to manage production of high caliber content with limited resources


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years experience working in an editorial or social-first environment


This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $54.02/hour - $74.79/hour
