Technical Program Manager III

Job Description:

The main function of the TPM for this role is to support and maintain software development projects within our organization. The typical TPM meets with key clients and stakeholders, collects feedback, executes plans and initiatives that enhance the efficiency/value of the teams’ products which may require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and/or related activities.


Job Responsibilities:

- Enable Reality Labs (RL) Analytics, Engineering, and Solutions team to successfully execute its strategy by supporting service and product launches, process improvements and strategic initiatives through technology.

- Support automation initiatives that will improve our operations functions.

- Identify tooling pain points and opportunities to improve business across multiple teams and functions: operational, technical and facilities members.

- Ensure successful project delivery and measurement between internal team members and cross-functional partners.

- Partner closely with clients in developing and prioritizing comprehensive, data-driven technology/tooling requests and support the team through project life cycle (Planning, process design, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing and launch).

- Build productive working relationships with engineers, stakeholders, and management inside and outside their program areas

- Identify dependencies and gaps, unblock issues and drive consensus amongst teams to drive results.


Minimum Qualifications:

- 3+ years experience in one of the following: software engineering, systems engineering, support, solution engineering in addition to project/program management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in high-tech operations space

- Experience leading cross-functional efforts across multiple time zones and functions

- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt, learn new skill sets and become proficient in new systems

- Strong analytical and technical mindset, as well as strong organizational and relationship management skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, influencing and problem-solving skills

- Resourceful, action-orientated with the ability to get things done independently and overcome obstacles by developing creative solutions to problems


Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

- Expertise in SaaS or enterprise technologies

- Project management experience in a large tech company.


This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position: $71.25/hour - $98.65/hour
