Job Description:
The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
• Manage the allocation and distribution of hardware resources to geographically dispersed teams
• Assess unused and unallocated devices and produce reports highlighting opportunities to redeploy scarce resources
• Document and communicate processes related to hardware distribution and reallocation
• Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
• Provide users with technical support for computer problems.
• Evaluate and propose opportunities to automate hardware allocation and notifications
Skills:
• Expert Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Knowledge of computer software, such as databases, SQL, excel, google sheets, google documents, power point
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $66.21/hour - $73.67/hour
