Job Description:
The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
Job Responsibilities:
• Define and drive success metrics and key performance indicators along with cross-functional partners.
• Articulate the roadmap, goals, milestones, and requirements for different projects.
• Balance business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise in web technology, learning management systems, sales enablement, and business education.
• Manage an agile sprint system for quick, release-based web development.
• Familiarity with Software Engineering platforms
• Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
• Prevent surprises in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Reporting of progress, risks and blockers to senior management
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
• Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
• 3 to 5 years of technical product/program management experience.
• Experience with communicating high-level strategy and technical details across teams, locations, and organizations.
• Preferred: Experience in marketing or advertising.
• Preferred: 1 to 3 years of software engineering or web development.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position: $66.21/hour $73.67/hour
