Job Description:

As a UX researcher in the Augmented Reality space, you’ll have the opportunity to partner directly with a single, tightly integrated pod with significant freedom to operate with the time, people and space necessary for conceiving, building and launching brand new products. Research is paramount to this organization’s success -


Our measurement workstreams are critical for tracking progress, identifying actionable insights, and launch readiness. Candidate should be experienced in quantitative methods and experimental design, with a solid background in statistical analysis.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful products into the world
  • Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research roadmaps
  • Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle
  • Contribute to product strategy, execution and go-to-market plan
  • Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team
  • Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways


Skills:

  • Experience with survey design and response effects, with a particular focus on using surveys to define business and product needs
  • Experience with R, STATA, Python, SPSS or equivalent
  • Experience coding with SQL preferred
  • Experience applying statistical analysis methods such as Regressions, ANOVA, and T-Tests
  • Experience delivering complex findings in clear, succinct ways that help drive action
  • Experience executing hands-on, primary research
  • Strong ability to work independently, make decisions, solve problems, and manage one’s time.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to summarize, drive home key takeaways, story tell, and conduct literature reviews.
  • Familiarity leveraging qualitative research (e.g., focus groups, interviews, cognitive walkthroughs) to further inform quantitative research


Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years of applied experience working on shipping products.
  • BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics.
  • Master’s degree or PhD preferred.


This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $66.11/hour - $91.53/hour
