Job Description:

A successful User Experience Researcher at Facebook for Business Commerce must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects. They must have a deep understanding of user research methods and best practices. As researchers for ad products, they should also be passionate about understanding advertisers and helping to create world-class advertising products that connect both people and businesses, as well as understanding and improving the experience people on FB have with ads.


Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct both advertiser-facing and consumer-facing research

2. Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful products into the world

3. Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle

4. Contribute to product strategy, execution and go-to-market plan

5. Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team


Skills:

1. Must demonstrate strong research skills, including research design, screening and recruiting, study moderation, and qualitative (IDIs, usability sessions, contextual inquiry, etc.) and evaluative quantitative (competitive benchmarking, tree-tests, card sorts, surveys) methodologies and analyses.

2. Must have a high degree of expertise in using online research tools such as UserTesting, UserZoom, Lookback, dscout, Optimal Workshop along with familiarity with prototyping and design software including Figma and Origami.

3. Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule, including quickly turning around study plans and reports.

4. Ability to collaborate actively as part of a cross-functional project team.

5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

6. Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment.

7. Experience in B2B or advertiser-facing research is strongly desired.



Education/Experience:

1. BA/BS in a human behavior or business related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or marketing.

2. 5+ years of relevant experience in a product/user research setting.


This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $66.11/hour - $91.53/hour
