Job Description

○ Support performance management for subset of l10n vendors (monitoring and distribution of KPI readings, triage escalations and action plans to ensure SLAs are met)

○ Help in the design and implementation of scalable framework for standardization of performance management across all vendors.

○ Act as vendor management’s POC for operations-related vendor issues both internally and externally (capacity planning, quality or due date escalations, tooling blockers, holiday visibility, special requests/projects)

○ Summarize vendor issue trending for cross-functional consumption, getting involved in l10n programs to represent Voice of the Supplier.

○ Support the management and improvement of ‘vendor experience’ (surveys, ensuring key partnership / LocPlat bugs are identified and addressed)

○ Work with LMs and LPMs to setup and manage vendor Workplace groups and serve as VM POC in each group

○ Map out l10n vendor communication channels and contribute to the ideation of a long-term strategy for communications at scale.

● Sourcing & Onboarding

○ Generate leads for potential new vendor candidates.

○ Coordinate vetting and testing process for confirmed vendor candidates.

○ Prepare proposals for vendor comparison and selection.

○ Kick-off and lead supplier registration process for newly selected providers.

○ Organize and execute onboarding events to train new vendors.

○ Support the establishing and monitoring of vendor/vendor program ramp-up plans.

● VM Process Documentation

○ Support the creation/maintenance of end-to-end process documentation, i.e. candidate discovery through on-boarding / off-boarding, production


Responsibilities

● Own communication with diverse network of localization vendor companies

● Monitor vendor performance, identify risks and escalate appropriately

● Create and execute on vendor test, probation and localization schedules.

● Review, prioritize, and track progress of issues that affect localization vendor operations and efficiencies

● Analyze vendor production issues and provide optimal solutions

● Support cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to ensure localization requirements are implemented and localization process is well understood

● Document needs for improving and optimizing internal and external process and workflows

● Support Meta L10N operations as needed


Skills

● Minimum Qualifications

○ 5 years of experience with localization, vendor and/or project management

○ BA/BS in technical discipline or equivalent experience

○ Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently

○ Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

● Preferred Qualifications

○ Familiarity with the Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Oculus

○ Knowledge of additional languages other than English

○ Data analytics and visualization.


This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $33.63/hour - $46.55/hour
